Mystory moving from interpretation to invention.

Mystory moving from interpretation to invention.

INTRODUCTION:
This picture was taken on my very first night in Las Vegas, Nevada as my friends and I began to take our first walk down the Vegas strip.

INTERPRETATION:
This photo was taken to get a memorabilia of the scenery of Las Vegas. Since this photo was taking as I was walking, I got other people and things in the photo. The decision I made while composing this photo, was that I wanted to get a long shot of all the important ans famous structures, while t the same time showing the depth of the Vegas strip. I assumed that the angle that I shot this picture would show a deeper image of the street and show a more narrowed setting. My intention was so have a gorgeous photo filled with just the famous structures, but since the photo was taken on the move, my pedestrians and other visitors of the city became present in the photograph.

REFLECTION:
If this picture was reversed and one of the pedestrians in my photo took a picture of me, the entire image would be different visually and would be interpreted differently.  If reversed, my emotions would be clearly noticed, because of the true excitement of being in one of most famous cities in the world. My face would be easy to read, and my eyes would be wide full of anticipation. At this moment in time, my friends and I began to search the strip, searching fro casinos and other famous spots to make appearances at. If a picture was taken of me at this moment the caption would be “somebody’s excited.” This caption would be placed because; I was smiling the entire day.

INVENTION:
This exercise has changed my way of photo taken, in the sense that, picture with people who are unaware that their picture is being taken, show their true emotions of that moment. Normal pictures people are ready for a photo and put on a fake smile.
